Terms of Use

Before you check “I accept”, carefully read the terms and conditions of this agreement. By clicking “I accept” or using the website in any manner, you agree to be bound by this agreement. If you do not agree to all terms, do not use our services. We may update these terms at any time and continue using the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Quickchefs.co.uk, a UK limited company (“company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), provides the website www.quickchefs.co.uk (the “site”), including all information, documents, communications, files, images, text, graphics, software, and products available through the site (collectively, the “materials”), and all services operated by the company and third parties through the site and our mobile application, including food delivery services (collectively, the “services”). The company’s delivery service mobile application is referred to as the “app.”

The services constitute a technology platform that enables users to order food from local restaurants and arrange for collection or delivery.

We may update these terms at any time. Your continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you breach any part of these terms, your authorization to use the site automatically terminates.

We may also modify or discontinue any part of the materials or services at any time without liability.

2. DEFINED TERMS FOR SITE CONTENT

“Restaurant content” means all restaurant‑supplied content, including menus, information, materials, files, communications, documents, text, videos, and images.

“Our content” or “company content” means all materials provided by us.

The terms in this agreement apply to all users (“you”, “your”).

User: any person who uses the service. Vendor: restaurants or food establishments listed on the service. Order: a request made by the user for food delivery or collection.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

To place orders or use certain features, you must create a user account (“account”). You agree:

  • Not to use an account created by another person
  • To provide accurate and complete registration information
  • To keep your password secure
  • That you are responsible for all activity under your account
  • To notify us immediately if your account is compromised

We may take legal action, restrict access, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY; LIMITED LICENSE

All materials and services on the site and app are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, republish, frame, download, transmit, modify, assign, distribute, or create derivative works based on the site, app, materials, or services except as expressly permitted.

You may not use data mining tools, robots, or similar extraction methods.

We also make available materials and services provided by restaurants (“restaurant products and services”). These may be governed by separate agreements. We offer no guarantees and assume no responsibility for restaurant products and services.

We provide a platform for ordering food; we do not prepare food and are not responsible for food quality. All dealings with restaurants are at your own risk. We are not a party to the transaction between you and the restaurant.

You may view and download our content and restaurant content for personal use only. You may not remove copyright notices or commercially exploit any content.

We may revoke your authorization to use content at any time.

5. ORDERS

Orders are subject to availability. Users may modify or cancel orders only within the timeframe shown during checkout.

All prices are listed in GBP and may change.

Once a restaurant begins preparing your order, it cannot be cancelled, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (perishable goods exemption).

6. DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to restaurant preparation time, traffic, weather, or other factors.

Users must provide accurate delivery information. Additional delivery charges may apply.

If the driver cannot deliver due to incorrect details or no response, the order may be cancelled without refund.

7. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Refund policies are stated clearly on the service.

If you wish to change or cancel your order after payment, you may contact the restaurant directly or contact our customer care team. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once preparation has started.

When processing refund requests, we may ask for reasonable evidence (such as photographs). We may also consider order details, delivery information, account history, and information from the restaurant.

Refunds may be issued when:

  • The restaurant cancels the order
  • Items are missing
  • Items are significantly incorrect
  • Delivery fails due to our driver’s fault

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect delivery details
  • No response at the delivery address
  • Complaints made after consuming the food

8. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Users agree not to misuse the service, including:

  • Submitting false information
  • Placing fraudulent orders
  • Interfering with service operation

9. TRADEMARK INFORMATION

The trademarks, logos, and service marks, including “QuickChefs”, are the property of the company or third parties. You may not use them without prior written consent.

10. PAYMENTS

By placing an order, you authorize:

  • The restaurant to charge your card for the food
  • QuickChefs to charge your card for delivery fees (where applicable)

You agree that charges will be processed according to your order and these terms.

11. MANAGING USER CONDUCT

We may:

  • Monitor the site and app
  • Take legal action against violations

You agree to indemnify the company and its affiliates against claims arising from:

  • Content you submit
  • Your use of the site or app
  • Damage caused by you
  • Breach of these terms
  • Violation of another person’s rights

16. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be handled by UK courts. We do not use US arbitration rules.

17. GENERAL

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the company. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force.

Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our rights.
